You can tell she is at her breaking point. She has bags and circles under her eyes, she has a big pack of beer in her basket, some gum, and the latest gossip magazine. Her eyes are bloodshot from lack of sleep. Her children are home with their dad who keeps calling her cellphone asking when she is coming home. She would rather throw her phone than answer it for he 10th time since she left the house 20 mins ago.
She wants to run away from home and get away from the constant demand of being a stay at home mom. Her feet hurt, her back hurts, and if she hears mommy said one more time she fears she is going to snap. She has housework to get done but while she is cleaning up one mess the kids are making another in the other room and it seems she can't catch a break. Then her man comes home from work and the house is slightly messy and he comments "what did you do all day? Why isn't the dishes done? Why is the laundry not done? Why isn't the kids dressed?" And she just grabbed her purse and keys and said she needed to go to the store. And here she was flabbergasted at how in 20 mins her man can't handle the kids and wants her home NOW! She has had to deal with them all day long. Sure he worked all day and had to deal with adults all day. But why can't he just do it for the evening? Just 1 hour without calling her phone constantly.
And go....

This one is my favorite; the detailed descriptions of the character’s many aches and pains aptly demonstrate the exasperation she feels over her family’s constant demands. As a reader, it generated empathy, understanding, and a genuine concern for the character. Nice work!
